    Re: Building a Fury

I think the higher cost of the motor and the few mph that you will gain is the reason that most people shy away from the yami 70. Also there are some good alternative options right now in the 60 hp...

    Re: Bay Boat

Next year sounds about right before it is done....I know it is not a quick process to make the boats test them in a bunch of different conditions, go back and change what they didnt like or thought...

  18. Re: Anyone using a tablet (ipod, samsung tab, etc) for gps in the everglades?

Almost forgot one of the first years I went to LA we did use an IPAD with navionics on it for navigation and it worked just as good as the iphone does...no problems at all even far out of cellular...
  19. Re: Anyone using a tablet (ipod, samsung tab, etc) for gps in the everglades?

I have used my iphone in lousianna for years as a back-up gps using navionics and there is no cell phone service 100 yards past the ramp and we run over 30 miles one way away from the ramp. With the...
  20. Re: Prop selection - 115 Pro XS vs the new 115 Merc 4-stroke ...

  21. Re: Prop selection - 115 Pro XS vs the new 115 Merc 4-stroke ...

First off I think the best prop on the vhp hull is a bow lifting 3 blade prop...although I have seen a 4 blade bow lifting prop work good with a 150hp motor. The regular hull vantage on the other...
