    Default New Lostmen/Fury layout

Gotta say the couple tweeks to the Lostmen and Fury layout look awesome. I wish the closed bilge and buckets for the rear hatches were available when I did my build. Plus standard awl-grip non skid is a hell of a lot easer to clean then the old stuff and looks a lot better. Nice job guys.

theres no need to be a dick. what a lot of people dont understand is that kevin, marc, adam, etc are always super busy and cant always jump at each request and question instantly.

Down boy, I know tone is hard to pick up over text.
Kevin, Im sorry if I sounded like I got impatient. Not a big fan of the rap thread, responding to that over someone asking about your skiffs seemed, i dont know, not cool? Iv'e been fishing the last 4 out of 5 days and that non- skid is hard as hell to get looking clean. I loved everything about the new decks when I was at the shop teasing myself with the idea of buying new. Just wanted to know what could be done as far as updating sme stuff, thats all...nonetheless, im loving my new to me lostmen....

I am sure they can replace the nonskid with Awgrip which is super nice but it also very expensive to do ( I have looked into it for my boat that is how I know it is expensive).

The key to making nonskid/boat clean up easier is a pressure washer and frequent wood wax applications on the nonskid. Another helpful thing is to use softscrub on the hard to clean spots. I wil also spray bleach/simple green combo on the nonskid and let bake in the sun. I hated to clean the nonskid whe I first got my boat now is easy because I have figured out the easy way to clean it and keep it clean. Hope this helps out with the cleaning.

I second that. Use the Woody Wax and follow the direcions on the bottle. It makes clean up a breeze.

I never used woody wax and I never have any issues getting my non skid clean. I use either soft scrub with black or dawn, bleach, and water and a stiff brush.

Thanks for the advice, ill try letting the simplegreen and bleach bake in the sun, The soft scrub with bleach and a stiff brush still left a lot to be desired...

If you destroy your boat all you need is : 1. Shurhold medium deck brush-the best for extremely bad stains 2. bleach 3. a detergent, preferably Dawn . Mist the boat then hit w/ 80-100% bleach w/ some Dawn. Keep it hot. Let cook and mist the boat again. Scrub. Never tried the woody wax. I was wondering how long it lasts and if it would hold up? Does it make it that easy for clean up if your boat is grotesque?

Oh and if that doesn't do it all, the magic eraser is impressive on the small stuff.
